With its quiet beaches and lush vegetation, Pemba Island is one of the most beautiful islands in Tanzania.
Pemba – “the Green Island”
Located in the Northern archipelago of Zanzibar is an island unspoiled by mass tourism. It is ideal for those who love diving due to its crystal clear waters that offer excellent visibility up to 50 meters deep. The Ngezi-Vumawimbi Forest Nature Reserve (or Ngezi Rain Forest) is a lush paradise where there are animals and plants species unique to this part of the world, such as the Vervet Monkey (or simply Vervet), the Blue duiker (a small African antelope), and the "Flying Fox", an endemic bat. The reserve is an excellent site for bird watching.
The small island of Misali within the area of conservation of the Pemba Channel is a part of the marine park and the refuge of thousands of sea turtles who land on the island to breed and
nest. The island has several resorts that we can offer, such as the Manta Lodge and its
underwater room.
