Day 1 - Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Arusha
After you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, there will be a Savannah Explorers guide waiting to take you to Arusha where you will be able to rest in the hotel. If you have time, you can visit Arusha town and the local market.
Day 2 - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel in Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National park for a game drive with picnic lunches. The park is famous for its huge herds of elephants and big baobab trees. During our game drive, we can spot all the African mammals including lions and other predators. Later on, we drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Serengeti Central - Seronera
Today after breakfast, we drive to Serengeti National Park crossing Ngorongoro Highlands. We experience our first game drive in Central Serengeti always full of residential animals spreading all over the savannah area.

Day 4 - Serengeti Central – Serengeti Mara
Today after breakfast, we proceed toward the area of Mara, in the northern part of the Serengeti where we can see the Great Migration. If we are lucky, we might witness a river crossing on the famous Mara River!
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Sunrise Balloon Safari in Serengeti
Day 5 - Serengeti North – Serengeti Central Area
After breakfast, we proceed with a game drive in the northern part of Serengeti with a primary focus on the Great Migration. Afterward, we drive back to central Serengeti with a game drive en-route.
Day 6 - Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today we will explore Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding area. This is one of the most evocative landscapes in the world where we can spot the dormant volcano and the nature that surrounds it. In the park, it will be possible to see the "Big Five:" elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, and rhinos. However, you should pay attention to the 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds in that area.
Day 7 - Karatu - Kilimanjaro Airport
After having a week spent admiring the meaningful Great Migration, we can walk in the area surrounding your lodge learning about local trees and plants. Afterward, you can continue with your trip to Zanzibar Island or another beach destination.
